The grate has been adjusted to fit the size and passed the 8-hour cold running test in the plant. However, in the process of transportation, the fastening bolts may be loosened due to vibration, resulting in structural size change. Therefore, after the installation of the whole boiler, the chain grate must be carefully inspected and cold no-load test:

(1) check whether the fastening nut of the adjusting screw of the driving shaft is loose? If it has been loosened, tighten the nut to make the adjusting screw tighten the driving shaft bearing.

(2) check whether the lubricant in the bearing of driving shaft and driven shaft is deteriorated and full? Fill the lubricant according to the technical requirements.

(3) it is not allowed to lose or clip iron parts or other sundries in any place of chain grate through careful inspection.

(4) is the air conditioning device flexible? Check and remove the fault;

(5) whether the ash release rod can be pushed flexibly? Check and correct the problem.

(6) the lifting of the coal gate shall be convenient and flexible. The distance between the left and right sides under the coal gate and the grate surface shall be equal to ensure that the thickness of the coal seams on both sides is the same. If not, the chain link can be reduced to make it equal.

(7) the cover plate on the coal gate shall be tightly covered to prevent the coal block from leaking in, and the jamming coal gate will affect its up and down movement.

(8) after the above inspection and adjustment, the cold test run shall be carried out for not less than 8 hours, and the speed of cold test run shall be at least two levels, and the speed of each level shall not be less than two turns. During operation, it is required that the active grate plate and chain wheel are well meshed, the grate plate is stable and tidy during operation, without noise, jamming, arching, deviation and other phenomena, and the minimum gap between the active grate plate and the side sealing block on both sides shall not be less than the value specified in the drawing. In case of no-load operation, the following phenomena shall be handled in time:

A. When the grate moves, there is arching phenomenon, which can be eliminated by adjusting the tension bolts of the driving shafts on both sides of the front of the grate.

B. If the safety clutch on the gearbox is bouncing, check whether the grate drive is jammed immediately? Is there any broken grate? Is the long pin of the grate seriously bent? In case of any of the above phenomena, the long pin can be pulled out from the hole in the front waist of the grate to straighten or replace the grate plate.

C. The distance between the two ends of the long pin of the grate and the plates on both sides of the grate shall be equal. If it is found that one end of it is in friction with the side plate, it can be tapped lightly with a hammer at the hole in the front waist of the grate to keep the distance between the two ends and the wall plate equal.
