When the coal hopper cannot be installed on the grate and leaves the factory together, the coal hopper shall be installed on the grate on site. The coal hopper installed with the main shaft linkage is slightly different from the vertical coal hopper. (the names of parts are not clear, please refer to the attached figure)

Installation of coal hopper with spindle linkage

(1) After the whole grate is installed in place, install the main body of the coal hopper at the front of the grate (as shown in the general layout of the grate), and connect the coal hopper with the grate with bolts and nuts;

(2) The hub is installed on the connecting end of the grate main shaft and the layered coal hopper;

(3) Install the chain wheel set. After the chain is installed on the chain wheel of the coal hopper driving shaft, let it drop naturally. Install the sprocket group (flange and sprocket are assembled together with bolts) on the hub, adjust the position of the sprocket group according to the chain position, so that the upper and lower two sprockets are in the same vertical plane, after adjusting the position, weld the flange in the sprocket group with the hub (with hydrogen 506 electrode);

(4) Install the shaft end baffle on the front shaft of the grate with bolts;

(5) Adjust the chain length (cut off the appropriate chain length) and close the chain;

(6) Adjust the position of the tensioning device and weld it to the side plate of the coal hopper (note that the tensioning device needs to be on the loose side of the chain);

(7) Install the chain wheel cover. Do not weld the chain cover to the coal hopper;

(8) Install the angle iron for pressing coal. The clearance between the angle iron and the grate surface shall be about 12mm. There are two holes at the lower part of each side of the side plate. Use bolts to install the angle iron for pressing coal here (when the grate has provided the angle iron for pressing coal, the coal hopper will not provide this piece). The installation of the angle iron for pressing coal in the layered coal hopper of the cross beam grate is slightly different, and a spring is required.

(9) Before the installation of the lower sealing device, pay attention to that the lower part must be built on the grate surface, and the collision between the left and right lower corners and the coal pressing angle iron must be cut. See the general drawing of the coal hopper for details.
